What is HIFU?

What is HIFU?

According to clinical studies, the regenerative process of new collagen are optimized at temperatures between 60-70°C. HIFU is the only method that reaches these optimized temperatures at depth, without heating the surface of the skin.

HIFU ultra sound is a frequency above 20,000 hz sound waves. HIFU Systems are intended for lifting and sculpting of skin by way of the deposition of micro-focused ultrasound energy at depths between 1.5 mm and 4.5 mm beneath the skin. Deposition of ultrasound energy results in a change to the physiology, resulting in stimulation of new collagen and elastin as part of the healing process.

HIFU is a non-surgical and a non-laser procedure that directs High Intensity Focused Ultrasound also known as ‘HIFU-Knife’ into the deep skin layer, in order to gently heat the tissue to lift and tighten aged skin without any incisions or disrupting skin surface. HIFU technology is able to transfer the heat energy into 3 ~ 4.5mm under the surface of the skin ( SMAS). It will heat the SMAS up to 60℃~80℃, then raises thermal coagulation point which accelerates skin rejuvenation process and maximizes tightening effect.

WHAT IS THE SAMS?
Superficial Muscular Apo-neurotic System
It refers to the broad coverage and deep tissue layer below the
Subcutaneous layer
